There are mainly two differences between the two traditional democracies. First, the role of the government for western traditional is to protect the individualsââ¬â¢ right to liberty, property, and life while the governmentââ¬â¢s role in Islamic tradition is to provide economic and social justice. Second, western democracies emphasize more on institutions of democracy and process while in Islamic nations what matters most is the outcome of the democratic. The administrators of colonial countries oppressed people of the Middle East. In other words, they carved them and put regimes that wound not unite the people in the Middle East. The indirect role played by the United States served its interests over those of the Middle Eastern people and this made the people not to experience the fair process of liberation. Globalization is an integration process between nations, people and countries, relates to the situation in the Middle East.
